A little bit about Kathy Smith..... 

As a life-long resident of Oregon with deep roots that connect back to the pioneers of the Oregon Trail, I have great appreciation for the rich history and amazing beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Equally inspired by majestic mountains or a winding country road, I started oil painting in my early twenties. Recently, I have embraced watercolor, enjoying the rich colors and depth and value achievable only through this medium. Each of my paintings is a personal journey through my experience of creating the art and each piece has personal meaning to me.
